Shipping policy

Shipping

All items are carefully packaged with the utmost attention to protect their age, materials, and condition. We ship orders within five business days of purchase unless otherwise noted in the item description.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable. Once an order has shipped, True Story Antiques is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

For large, fragile, or specialty items, additional shipping arrangements or insurance may be required. If this applies, it will be clearly communicated prior to shipment.


Returns & Final Sale

Due to the nature of antique and vintage items, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons including (but not limited to):

  • Change of mind

  • Size, scale, or color preferences

  • Natural wear consistent with age

  • Minor imperfections disclosed in the listing

We strongly encourage customers to review all photos and descriptions carefully and to reach out with any questions prior to purchasing.


Damaged in Transit

If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@truestoryantiques.com.

To process a damage claim, we require:

  • Photos of the damaged item

  • Photos of the packaging (inside and outside)

  • Your order number

Once the claim is reviewed, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue. Refunds or replacements (when applicable) are issued only for damage that occurred during transit.


Additional Notes

  • All items are sold as-is, with conditions described to the best of our ability.

  • Antiques and vintage pieces may show signs of age, wear, or previous use, which are considered part of their character and history.

  • By completing a purchase, the buyer agrees to this Shipping & Returns Policy.
