Early 19th-century mourning ring crafted in gold and dated to 1806. The oval ring head is set with an emerald and diamond and finished with black enamel detailing, characteristic of mourning jewelry of the period.
The reverse retains an engraved memorial inscription reading: “John Champion… 18th June…” (partially legible).
